The Shenzhen Sub-center of the China National Overseas Intellectual Property Dispute Response and Guidance Center (hereinafter referred to as the "Shenzhen Sub-center") is one of the first local sub-centers in the country approved by the China National Intellectual Property Administration(hereinafter referred to as the "CNIPA") on April 8, 2020. On April 27, 2020, the Shenzhen Sub-center was inaugurated and established at the session of construction briefing for the fifth anniversary of the establishment of the Qianhai Shekou Free Trade Zone.
The Shenzhen sub-center is based on China (Shenzhen) Intellectual Property Protection Center, with the aim to provide the public with a comprehensive platform for public welfare overseas rights protection services. Under the guidance of the CNIPA and the China National Overseas Intellectual Property Dispute Response and Guidance Center, the Shenzhen Sub-center has established mechanisms of overseas risk monitoring, overseas dispute information sharing and overseas rights protection service to provide more efficient and convenient overseas intellectual property risk prevention and dispute response services.
